The University Blockchain Conference takes place at the University of Texas at Austin on November 20–21, 2026. Previously known as the Midwest Blockchain Conference, it connects university blockchain communities with researchers, alumni and people working in the industry. The announced event includes speakers, a hackathon, a research competition and opportunities to meet other participants.
The conference is organized by College.xyz, a student-led nonprofit that supports university blockchain communities. Its combination of academic and industry participation makes it relevant to students starting to build blockchain applications, researchers sharing their work and developers looking to meet emerging teams. The official registration page provides attendance and campus location details.
