The ETHChiangMai Hackathon takes place from 26–28 December as part of the community's longer gathering in Chiang Mai. The 2026 programme centres on Ethereum's core values: censorship resistance, free and open-source technology, privacy and security. Builders join a community of researchers and creators working around those themes.
The organizer's current schedule announces a prize pool of more than US$10,000 for the hackathon. Applications for the wider programme are scheduled to open on 1 November. Challenge details, the hackathon's exact venue and session times have not yet been published, so participants should follow the official website for the registration process and final logistics.
